Sequence, on the web and for Mac

Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is handled in Sequence, both the website (sequence.photos) and the Mac app.

We collect no personal information

We don’t collect, save, or have access to any of your personal data. The photos you add and the projects you make stay on your device: in your browser’s storage on the website, and in the app and the files you save on the Mac. Everything the app does with your photos, including making previews, PDFs, and InDesign exports, happens on your device. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.

Your settings, like the theme and page size, are stored only on your device.

The app contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking, and it makes no requests to third parties. Like any website, the site’s host (Netlify) may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses, as part of serving it.

We do not and will never sell any data.

Children’s privacy

Sequence complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act: it doesn’t collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
